Payment

We can accept payment using most electronic payment cards: Visa, Visa Delta, Electron, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro and Solo.

We regret that we are unable to accept American Express cards, cash or cheques as a means of payment.

Delivery

We normally carry most products from stock and aim to process the majority of orders on the day upon which they are placed (or the next working day for orders after 3pm, weekends or Bank Holidays). However, on occasion, due to varying levels of sales or supplier back-orders, a product may prove to be out of stock. Where this is the case, we will inform you by email, advising our most up-to-date information regarding when we expect to be able to complete your order.

The majority of orders ship by Royal Mail Recorded or DHL delivery and will require signing for upon delivery. Delivery once despatched is typically within 24-48 hours, but may take longer to rural areas, or during peak periods.

Any delivery shortages or errors must be notified within 7 working days of delivery.

Warranty

All products are supplied with a manufacturer's warranty against material or manufacturing defects only. Smaller CTEK consumer chargers now come with a 5 year manufacturer's warranty and larger trade/industrial units a 2 year warranty.

In the event of the customer rejecting the goods under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) the customer agrees to return the item to the supplier, in accordance with Section 36 of that act. We reserve the right to inspect and test any product returned in this manner, in order confirm that any fault is not due to damage or neglect, prior to handling any refund. Please note, shortening or modification of pre-assembled cabling constitutes usage contrary to manufacturer's instructions and will render all warranty and statutory liability void.

Returning Product

Before returning any product, please request a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) via email (see the contact us page). Product(s) returned without authorisation or after a RAN has expired may be refused upon arrival or subjected to a handling charge.

Order Cancellation

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you may choose to cancel an order within 7 working days. Please note however, that you will be liable for the cost of return to us, and all product must be handled with reasonable care (ie. in as new condition). Product not in as new condition may be subject to a handling charge.

In the event that we are unable to successfully deliver an order due to inaccurate address details provided by the customer, unreasonably restricted access at delivery address or customer cancellation after despatch but prior to delivery, we reserve the right to deduct costs incurred in recovering goods from any subsequent refund.

Order Acceptance

By completing and submitting the electronic order form you are making an offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Upon completion of the online order process, you will be sent an acknowledgement of order. This acknowledgement of order confirms our receipt of your offer to purchase only and does not indicate our acceptance of the order.

Disclosure Of Personal Information

All information provided by the customer will be treated as confidential and will not be forwarded to any third party, except where necessary for the processing or fraud screening of an order, or for legal or law enforcement purposes.

Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. This legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

Alroma Distribution Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
